I just ordered my copy of amazon a few minutes ago, and I'm really excited that it's supposed to get here on the release date. Anyone else looking forward to number 6?

PS - Hermione is hott in the movies.

I'm off-the-wall excited for this book. My uncle works at a book store, so he's going to try and sneak me a copy before its release date. It worked with the fifth book, so here's hoping.

I did the same thing, haha. But then there's that glorious week where you read the entire series in six sittings..

20 at a time.

Dude, you're like, a million years older than her!

I've just finished it a full half hour before the rest of the East Coast gets theirs. The perks of having connections, I'll tell you.

Six hours of intensive reading and it was.. just.. oh man. No words can describe. No words.

I actually waited. For once. I think every other year I've pre-ordered it, and the net has sent it four or so days early.

I went to a local book store, wrote down my name, paid, and I'm coming to get it this morning. My parents wouldn't go at midnight >,> and I can't drive for another year and a half or so.

But I'm excited to read it. And I'm also wicked excited for the next movie. I just said wicked. I haven't said wicked since fifth grade.

Look what you people make me do. Go on about a book like a nerd and then say "wicked".

I think we need to start a support forum once more people have read it. I know I'm seriously bumming over here. I need to talk to someone before I develop a drug addiction out of grief.

So, I started it yesterday, and I found it rather good. I was rather upset in the second chapter, but eh. I can't wait to get further in.

So many people seem to try to read it in one day so they could say they did. I'd rather take my time and enjoy the book.

you dont have to read it slow to enjoy it, also its not as if people just want to brag. the series just happens to be so engrossing that you find yourself at the last chapter really quick.

Agreed, very much so. I finished it in twelve hours, myself. Fortunately I had nothing to do the day after it came out.

I felt like this book was very different from the first 5 because this time, it was a big set-up for the next book. The rest of the books were seperate adventures for the most part, that added to the characters. The next book will be a continuation of this book, so I felt that the ending of number 6 was very open and a little frustrating. There was very little conclusion, just a cliffhang. J.K Rowling better get her ass in gear and write the next book before she faces an angry mob.

I hate when I finish it so quickly... it makes me upset. I don't like it to be over that soon.

By the time I finished, I found myself to really like Voldemort, especially in his teen years. Kind of odd, considering my other favorite character was Sirius, but eh. I don't know, he reminded me of my personality.

You like Voldemort as a teenager? He's a power-hungry, egostitical, pure-blood loving, fear inducing, Dark wizard; and you like him? Sure, you can blame a little bit of his evil on the fact that he had no parents, and therefore no one to teach him to control himself and his powers, but his evil is certainly his own choice.

What is it you like about him?

He's introverted, intelligent, powerful... it takes a lot to get as far as he has, even if what he has is terrible.

I like his personality, before he has no personality. Now he's so inhuman, so I don't really like him as the soul-split-in-seventh snakelike dark lord.

(He is cute too, but that's not it!)
