The game definitely holds a place in my heart. There was a good while when it was my favorite - and only-played - game. Back when it was still new, I must have played it at least 5 times in a row without getting bored of it.
And yes. Axem Rangers = my favorite group of bosses. Although my favorite boss was, of course, Culex :P

Super Mario RPG (http://www.smrpglegacy.com/Super%20Mario%20RPG%20-%20Official%20Artwork%20(common).htm) is the first RPG game I ever played and its the reason y I love square-enix games so! I don't know if any of u remember, but which part of FF4 did the mini boss: Culex originate from? This mini boss was accessible if u had a moonstone or something, its been so long I hardly remember!

Culex was not actually from a Final Fantasy game. He was just modeled after the bosses from FF, but not based on a specific one. Oh, and BTW it was a "Shiny Stone" to open the door. Moon stones are from pokemon. :gator:

omg im starting a new file on this tonight! one day you should ask andy about his mario rpg file. he leveled to fourteen in the first area, then got mallow and he was only level two(in mario rpg level fourteen is the equvalent of level fifty in any other game.)

im in agreement with everyone else about the placement of the game in the hall of rpg fame....
the only thing is, mallow was the first "huh?!?" moment nintendo ever gave me....there were plenty more to come, but to this day, i still dont understand where they pulled the idea for a cloud that thinks he's a frog......
