[GFK] GF home version

Does anyone own the GF home version? I've been looking into getting it because I can't get the hang of it at the arcade so I figured instead of pumping a bunch of money into the machine I'd take it upon myself to just get a copy. I hear the controllers don't hold out well though. Anyone have any feedback?

i've played the home version at tga. And i'm not a huge fan. Then again, i've never played teh arcade version. I know for a fact that the controller is crap though. Maybe someday i'll have to go to GT and play it

Well, I was going to reply earlier but the stupid page lost my long reply to this. The rumors you have heard are true Sherri, the experience of the home game is definitely nothing like the arcade version. Since you've been to GT, you know the GF controllers have a certain weight to them, the home ones don't and therefore don't communicate the same feeling of playing the guitar as the arcade version does. On top of that, the home version (third party one) has very very bad response time.
