Whoa. Punctuation is a good thing.
Although there have been rumors of a 2005 release date, from the articles I've read it looks like Spring 2006. I wouldn't neccessarily count on any dates Sony sets at this point because it could always change.
A simple google search would have provided you with what you wanted to know.

I agree with KiN on the Revolution, but PS3 has God of War 2...that's enough to sell me right there. Also, am I the only one that absolutely hates the new boomerang controller? And the only one that hopes the PS3 allows use of the older controllers?

So you are saying you are gonna wait for the price to drop below $300 in 2007 ^_^
The estimated start price for the PS3 (as discussed at E3) is going to be around $500

I'll get a PS3 at launch, just so I won't have to buy a new BlueRay DVD player too. And I'll never own an X-Box 360. A system with no good games gets no love from me. Plus It's not backwards compatible. Thanks Microsoft.
P.S. I like the Batarang controller. Probably good to throw at somebody.

the price was set a 450.00 retail when it's released officially.
the nintendo revolution video if you guys seen it was fake, it took the person close to a year to fully complete that video and it won't be like nothing it was shown with some helmet and touch screen crap..no.
just to clear that up. i'm not a fan of microsoft, nor the xbox so i could care less where that goes :p

make me a mod please!
I will be assigning new mods to the site when we redo the site. If you show resposability on the site (which you have so far) and you continue to post and you visit the store then you may be eligable. This goes to anyone interested in a mod possition.

I think I'll just stick with my DM. Seriously you guys you need to adjust those stools. They're so low for the DM machine I had a very hard time playing so low.
Back on topic, Revolution will let you d/l NES, SNES, and n64 games straight to the revolution and play them there. How can you not love that?

There is a slight fee attached to downloading them. Although, that is hott.

Yea but what will it be like $10 at the most? For some awesome games that hopefully can be played online.

I plan on getting the X-box 360, Nintendo Revolution, and PS3. I'll probably wait on the PS3 though because although I love Sony, chances are its gonna have a crapload of problems.
I do NOT like the aspect of wireless controllers though. I hate wireless. ;_;
And being able to DL older Nintendo games is uber smexy. ;)

sony always has hardware issues right out of the gate. i think im just going to wait and see if andy buys the next gen consoles for the store. in which case i wont have to shell out the money.

can you say "super computer"? the PS3 is equipped with duel of one of the best graphics cards out on the market now. along side that, the processor will beable to run 3 dvd's smoothly everytime with no problem whatsoever. all that, plus wireless everything, and a peer 2 peer (p2p) system set up for users. yeah, i just kinda talked about mostly the whole system right there :p
