Not sure if any of you have been keeping up on this game, or have even heard of it for that matter, but I figured I'd make this post. Neon FM is a dancing simulation game that uses a unique 5 "arrow" setup. It features a new gameplay type unseen before and an amazing linup of artist (including Thomas Howard). I am personally interested in seeing this machine in TGA when it is released towards the end of the summer, I just wanted to get some general feedback from the users here.

In-game Video: http://www.bemanistyle.com/Neon_FM_gameplay_video.avi
Pad Setup: http://www.neonfm.com/media/platform2.jpg
General Note: This game runs on the StepMania engine, by looking at the pictures and videos above you will notice this is nothing like normal stepmania and uses a custom built pad and cab design aswell as custom made and recorded songs. I do NOT plan to see this turn into a flame any machine that uses stepmania thread. Please give only constructive opinions here. Thank you

That would indeed be the Thomas Howard in question. He just recently shot a video with Dj Potato for Neon FM.

Yeah, hes a big contributor to this project. Also present are three Freezepop songs (Science Genius Girl, Super Sprode, and another one that i cant think of right now). Other contributors include Hiro, Spacekats (Bus*Stop), Jenny ROM, and Alien#six13.
Personally, I think that the song Girlz Buttz by TH will be totally freaking awesome, just due to name alone...but I just find it highly amusing (thinks of Ballad For You and Silent Hill and laughs)
EDIT: Also unique about this machine is that the pad has no moving parts. IE there will be no need to replace sensors every time some corpulent elitist plays on the machine. Us corpulent n00bies do just fine, however.

It's like 5 Key Beatmania... on your feet! Maybe they should call it STEPmania!*ba-dum!* (canned laughter) :gator: It's definitely interesting. If I cover up the part about it using the Stepmania engine, I almost like the idea! (And in case any of you think I'm trying to turn this into flame thing, I'M BEING SARCASTIC). Thank you, forks, I'll be here all week. Don't forget to tip your cute waitresses wearing baby-doll dresses and white thigh-high's. :)

I really want to play it. It looks like a new challenge for us DDR players.
