Acutally, Chad, I think she was talking about RP's that fall under the domain of things like MUCKs and MUDs. I could be wrong though. I used to play Redwall MUCK, actually, I was quite well-known and popular even though I was 10-12. It's not too hard to find RP's though, just type MUCK into google, or things like that.

I used to run a MOO of my own... the still would fall mostly under the RPG category. I'd be surprised if there were very many MOOs, MUCKs, or MUDs around anymore outside of maybe LambdaMOO.

Distributed Server Farm. Moo!
Speaking of MMORPG's, or not speaking of them, I need to get that Guild Wars game, so I can live out my dream as a enigmatic sorceress hailing from the snowy northlands! :gator:

I've actually had more fun partying with my friends and doing quests than I have playing the PvP. Yes, the soloing isn't QUITE as involved as WoW, but considering you don't have to pay a monthly fee, I'd choose Guild Wars ANYDAY.

I thought you had the OPTION of doing PvP in Guild Wars, but you didn't have to. (i.e. joining either the PvP server or the non-PvP server)...?

I hate to continue the hi-jacking of this thread, but the way the PvP works in Guild Wars is...
When you choose to start a normal character, you start at level one, and at various cities in the game there are PvP arenas. In no way is PvP necessary when you start a normal character, but it's damn fun. When you start a PvP character, you start at level 20 with good equipment, certain skills and such. You then have ONLY the option of playing PvP, and cannot enter the normal character world.

Heck yes there was! I used to be on the Redwall Abbey Council of Elders. I was really well-known, and I played like, all my time. I was 10-12 at the time too. But yeah... linkage: www.redwall.realm.limitless.org
It's not as big as it used to be. When I played there were as many as 60 peope on at time, more with big RP's, but now there are normally twenty or less.

No www because, I suppose, it isn't part of the World Wide Web. Brian Jacques is too cool for that. I actually got to meet him... and he is cool.
