Has anyone tried the new Afterburner metal pad from RedOctane? I've heard one person vouch positively for it, but then again, I heard good things about the Ignition 2.0 (now 3.0) and my 6th pad this year had it's down arrow kick the bucket :guin: (thank God for warranties! :gator: ) And I'm not a very hard stepper either, unless I'm really testing for sensitivity. But I do play a few 10's (like "Paranoia Survivor" and "Max 300") every time I play (like every other day) So I'm wondering if I should continue shelling out $10 for a warranty on the Ignitions or just shell out $200 and hope that the Afterburner will last me a good while.
