No matter how old I get, i love posting about how much i dislike this game. Though i may be a closet fan. Nothing beats seeing Mongoose para though, that was a fine day! How does Para make you feel?

I used to like the game but ever since the drama around Christmas tiem I can't think of the game anymore without thinking of the "unpleasantries".

I like Para, I can say that with a straight face. The thing is, I'd rather watch people para than para myself. Like the videos on PPP, I love those, and some of the ones I've seen done by fans.

Although - I do try and make up moves sometimes to songs in which I haven't seen the respective para routine.

para makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. oh no wait, that's how it makes my teddy bear feel.

when i para i feel determined to get every single move EXACTLY how the para girls do it. the only problem is that they're trained and practice all the time, and i'm not like that. so sometimes i can't mimic them...i'm not all petite and cutesy either, so that doesn't help. @_@; but alas, i try my hardest. and i have so much fun when i do a routine all the way through!

no game can get me so determined to do everything right like para can while still having fun. so bah-yow.

What's so funny about Deltadance? The triangle thingie?

Para para is coolness. I have no motivation to practice anymore though. :(

slowly para will die in NE, and GT will sell their machine to Brian K and buy something sexy. Like putting me in a MvC2 Cab, and charging folks two tokens to look at me

I wouldn't throw away Para so quickly Abe, to me that's a very bias remark because you don't happen to like it. There is still a lot of interest, BUT, there's not much knowledge about it, what it is, what you can do with it, etc. It's a simple lack of promotion and communication, the people at GT don't give a rat's ass who plays that game, but if you gave that machine to somebody who would take the time to promote the hell out of it, and really expose the game for what it is - unbiased - then I think it would do a lot better.

see it's strange. last time i went to GT there was a five person line to get onto the machine, for as long as i was there. But Lipski went the day after and said no one was in line for it. So which would be more accurate? I just think Brian K would be very happy with a para machine

I would pay three tokens.

I have a better idea!! I can put you in the SVC cab and charge a $10 flat rate to look at you all day, we'll have Drummania in no time.

I don't think PPP will ever take off as much as the other Bemani, even if you promoted the hell out of it. For those who want to play for tech, it's way too easy. And to everyone who doesn't want to learn the routines, it's way too fruity. I know we have plenty of people in this area who don't really care or aren't self-conscious about that (myself included), but I don't think it really has a ton to offer.

The machine at GT gets a decent amount of play, but not even REMOTELY close to as much as DDR or DM. It probably doesn't make that much money anymore. I usually play once or twice when I go though. I would be sad if it went away. :(

I asked Abe about that actually while we were watching Adult Swim. And well... He does not hate the game. Don't get him wrong. He just cannot stand the people who do it ALL the time. Like the people who do it without the machine. Or people who be Para Parring to songs from like some other game while someone is playing it.

I guess it's better not to do it where people do not want you to. Just do it in the right place, or make a Para Para game out of your shower.

Oh man. I think I sound like Abe and I never played this game.. XD

Personally, I think I would make more money, particularly if I'm paraing. Make it double if I do Detaldance.com XDDDD JK

I dunno, I para without the machine on occasion. They have VCDs and such with the routines. I don't do it as much anymore, but it's still fun.

see sher, that's the thing. You'd be para-ing, and i'd be teling wonderful stories. Because well, that's my talent. As for a flat rate...just get me the empty cab that's in Clay's room

I've never thought of doing that. Now I can practice para every day!

Wellllllll.....you look pretty stupid when playing. And REALLY feminine. It's kind of funny.

But anyway, I never make up my own paras, but when I used to practice all the time, I definitely did it without the game or sometimes even without the music. The dancing DID originate before the game did, so it's not like you need a machine around to do it.

make a Para Para game out of your shower.

I do this when I am in a really good mood ^o^

Anyways, I para occasionally, and I used to know the routines for Yesterday and Ultra High Heels, but I sorta forgot them. It's too embarrassing to play, mostly... :p
