Well, i played it recently, but it was in japanese so i really couldn't understand much of the story. at all.
To be honest, i'm kinda dissapointed.
The graphics are pretty much the standard stuff (although the face portraits SUCK in this one). The sound is amazing. They put a LOT of effort into the voice acting in this one...hell there's even an ending song by Ciel's VA I believe.
Zero 4's still challenging, but not as much as the older ones. The new elements they added in could have been done a WHOLE lot better, in my opinion. While the Magic Hand and stealing enemy weapons was the most awesome thing ever, they could have done a whole lot more with it in terms of puzzles and unlocking new passageways. The item making thing was confusing, but that's probably just because it was in japanese and i had no clue what to do.
The story is meh. The new characters are nothing special, really, and there was no sign of the Guardians (Harupia, Fafnir, and Levithan) either. And to top it all off...
*SPOILER*
They killed off Zero. Again. ;_;
