I pre ordered the sony PSP in early march when i got tekken 5 and i felt like i was waiting forever. I was really anticipating the awesome release of this great handheld device. On March 24th, I went to ebgames at the warwick mall at 6:00 in the morning and passed the time playing metroid zero mission for the last time on my GBASP. I was suprised that when the doors to ebgames opened, i was with only about 25-30 people in waiting line. i was the third person in warwick to get one of the first psp's(and the 1st fat person to get a psp lol). I only bought Ridge Racers with it and that game is frickin' awesome. After about a week i bought a usb cable and a 256mb memory stick to start downloading stuff on the psp. So far I have 21 mp3's, 42 images, and 2 game trailers on the stick. This machine definitely kicks the crap out of the Nintendo DS and has more better games than the ds's mario 64. i would like to know if anyone else owns the psp and has any comments on it and the games. Later.

I have a PSP which I bought about a week after it was released. I regret buying it at first because I realized I just spent $400 on a handheld system.
Well, now I have to say that it was a good investment. I have Lumines, Twisted Metal: Head On and Need For Speed Underground: Rivals.
I plan on purchasing Untold Legends, GTA and Ridge Racer.
I also have two 32mb, a 256mb and a 1gb memory stick pro duos.
The D-Pad, however, is horrible for Darkstalkers which is such a beautiful port onto the PSP. Once Sony comes out with the extended battery and an online browser the PSP will shine even more. Faster load times, crisper images, better overall performance will make up for the decency this system has proven thus far.
Although, Sony could have saved much more battery life if the used games stored on flash media so that the UMD didnt need a spin mech to waste the source. I can understand why they didnt because it would be too easy to pirate software onto a stick.
Overall, PSP is worth it. Ive used it on the go on car rides, on the john, watching movies in bed...PornStationPortable...ROFLcopters!
Final Fantasy Advent Children should be worth a look for all those loyal to the series.

i got a PSP on like maybe the 2nd day i didnt even know about the PSP until i bought it. i didnt have a pre order or anything my friend at EB was like i got 1 if u want it being the baller i am i shelled out the cash for the handheld bought 2 agmes at first. now my PSP empire has grown to a stagerring 6 games (half of the launch basiclly) so if ur looking to buy a new game i suggest goin with LUMINES the only game i think is a must buy other honorable mentions would be UNTOLD LEGENDS and WIPEOUT PURE. METAL GEAR ACID is good for what it is but too bad it isnt Metal Gear. all in all PSP rawkz and its only goin to get better come summer so dont let those PSP-haters discourage you theyre only saying that cuz they dont have one

well, my friend has a psp and he only has a couple of games that he owns, but the games he owns stink. lol
But I like the graphics of the PSP because, well, it has the same graphics as the gamecube, which is cool, and its portable.
Basically what I am trying to say is that, you are having a Gamecube on the road!!

If I had money to burn I'd get one. *wants to play lumines*
But at a few hundred bucks, it just doesn't seem worth it to me. I'm not saying its dumb to buy one at that price or anything, it just wouldn't be worth it for me at this point in time. I rarely go anywhere so I can just play one of my systems at home. ^_^"
I really do like the fact that movies are being released for it though. Thats pretty hot.

Yea they look awesome, but whenever I try to read or play any type of portable system in a car, i feel dizzy and sick. Plus I KNOW it would get stolen at my school somehow. It would be in my pocket and someone could probably get it  Also i don't have money for it. I would most likely get one if it went down to 100$. But still then, I wouldn't know when to play it.
