I was wondering, since TGA is going to get bgger, or if it has because i havent been their for like 2 months, we should place a Initial-D machine or another car racing game their......what do you think???
Or
Will it take to much room so it won't really happen??

"Initial D" would rock :gator:, but I think space and money would be issues :mouse: (esp. with Pop'n 12 coming in :gator: and the IIDX upgrade to Blue Sky). But Andy is always full of suprises...

Space might not be an issue cuz i think Andy said that he might be getting some of the spare rooms in back, but Initial D would be so awesome. Ive never played before and it would great to play for the 1st time on an arcade machine.

You've never playd Initial D? That's like friggin everywhere. I also heard that it costs $30,000 for an initial D machine (guessing version 3) but i think a more fun party type of game would be that Super Arcade or whatever it's called. It has like 500 games in one cabinet. I know you could just do that with Mame, but I know andy wouldnt want to do anything that's really illegal.

anyway, Initial D would rock, seeing as how I have a card that I never use anymore because the DDR machine @ the Namco arcade in Natick sucks ass.

Yeah, it is kind ok like Grand Turismo + NFSU combinded

Well people that love Initial D love the game and that's why its such a popular game. It's a good racing game but the fact that it's Initial D makes it more popular. I think lol

For me, I would think that its better then the other arcade car games because it has the good songs and it is real to me because its on a real track.

I never really got into it myself.
Then again, aside from Mario Kart and F-Zero... never really liked racing games much.

Yeah I was thinking that since Andy is gonna have more space in TGA, he could put an Initial d 3rd stage arcade in the new space. But I don't think he will do it because he has like 5 new japanese fighting games going in that room along with the new taiko game. If Andy did find room though, he could put in Initial D, and maybe some people i know would come down to TGA to play an unlimited amount of that awesome racing game. I definitely need to play that game again cause i am so far from beating it.

I agree,:D For the money I spent on IIDX, I could have purchased a small village in Japan..or I could have bought one of those robot girls from Dippy, but good thing I didn't because it keeps malfunctioning. :P

Haha, werd. Plus, a lot of the people I've met in arcades that play it are really elitist. If you don't have a card, they won't let you play. And even then, they'll trash you just to make you waste your money. That was my experience with Initial D.

Elitists come with every game, My first expereince with Initial D elitists was alright, Me and Jamil and Luc went to Natick to play and the guys who were really good there were pretty nice and showed us some stuff that would be helpful and all that good stuff. Just like with DDR your ganna get your bad elitists that think they are gods gift to video games and then there are the ones who are constructive players.

Try going down to Warwick when everyone there who plays Initial D thinks they're GOD. I mean, they're not bad... but their egos really get to them. And to me, they don't have the respect for the lesser-players. Just because they can do Akina (?) doesn't mean they can't let anyone on to do... something else. ... ne? *makes no sense* But yeah, every game has the elitist crew.
But to make this on topic, I don't think TGA should get ID. It's not that I don't like it, I think... I dunno. I just don't think I'd fit well with the TGA thing. *shrug* :mouse:
