Ok, i know i posted about Step Mania being bad, but the reason was because my computer was slow.
So...
what songs should I download onto step mania?

Please Discuss and share.

Just find the DDR packs. You can get like everything.
And at bemanistyle find some killer edits, sometimes music you listen to.
And quasar!

Oh, and you should steal some of my edits! Rah. I pwn edits.

Eggman's Quasar is good but it doesn't really tailor to those that are just starting out. I have trouble beating it myself but then I use one hand, so it's freaking brilliant that I can beat it at all.

Noteworthy is that my best+unique file on there would probably be PARANOiA =iNSANiTY= (Full) but the whole thing tends to be rather hard to the new person.

Actually, I don't think a single one is a DDR edit, but some are borderline (like songs from IIDX or other Bemani stuff like Megamixes and stuff like that).

Yeah, I can't beat quasar. I use one hand too.

My friend is obsessed with it, plays with two hands. She was like trying to AA it or something.

Just come to TGA with a laptop or an external hard drive and dump it off my laptop...I have every DDR song and a lot of homebrew packs.

I've C'd Quasar with one hand but that's about it. The majority of it is pressing 16th notes at 155BPM, which can get nuts fast for the new person. I can read all of it but halfway into the major 16th note run my arm gives up and my fingers start slowing down. Don't really have the finger strength yet to pull it off.

And there are some files where I'd be practically doomed using one hand. The better way would be using two, but I haven't trained to do that so I'm pretty much at a plateau now.

I should stop playing SM. I think it's making me worse at DDR. Either that or I should bump the timing judge from "5" to "JUSTICE".

And I wouldn't know. :\

As for SM making you worse with DDR it must have an opposite effect for me, because I do better by playing SM. That's the only reason I've nailed songs on Heavy within seven arcade visits. It's a shame that the local mall is shot down the machine a week ago and the whole place itself. Now I have to travel 70 miles to the nearest one.

Yeah, I didn't play DDR for a while because there wasn't a machne anywhere nearby, but I kept playing SM. When I went back to playing DDR, my average greats per song went from about 40 to 25. Now I'm closer to an average at 20, but I don't play SM anymore.

Considering I make simfiles for a hobby, I'm pretty much inclined to play. :\ I definitely don't play as much as I used to since after a while you master the arrows quite a bit.

It puts a spin on things, IMO. Makes stuff harder for us who don't like playing officials forever on keyboard. Not everyone has beatmania, or a pad to hook up to their computer. There's something for everyone =P

I'm not saying anything that isnt offical is bad (in fact, The "the Logical song" original that Bantu made is quite possibly the greatest thing ever.) I just dont see the point in "IIDX 4-Key AutoScratch." I mean, theres no keysounds and it just feels really jumbled and weird to me. But anyway...

On the note of Beatmania, Harry. I believe you still have my copy of IIDX 4th Style. If you could bring that next time you hit up TGA, I'd appreciate it.
