Tekken 4

It's a horrid game, but i love it. I've been playing at MFC, mostly because it's free. Though i hate 3d fighters, i can deal. I play as Steve, because he doesn't kick, but still kicks butt! ( :gator: ) Hows aboot you?

I'm not a fan of this at all. Coming from a Capcom background of TURBO mode, I need the fight to be very fast paced, and Tekken just doesn't do it for me, it seems way to restricted in many areas.

It's a bias opinion, but I really just like 2D fighters, except for Soul Caliber, which Jenni got me into - and turbo all the way. :)

Well... coming from a backround where I like to relate with my characters, I am a fan of Hwarong. I have always loved Tae Kwon Do, and want to study it when I get the free time and devotion required to go into a martial art again.

But I like him fbecause he's almost entirely the opposite of Steve, He relies almost entirely on kicks (Yes, I know steven DOES rely ENTRELY on punches... but Hwarongs Punches are rarely useable =D)

Also, his Gi rocks hardcore.

I play tekken 4 on ps2 and I have used Steve Fox a lot. He is mad fast with his punch combos. But I've unclocked all the characters and by far the best is Heihachi. I can't easily beat any character on the highest level against the computer with him.

I like Hwrang and Baek, the kicking dudes. I pwned with them. Tekken Tag is my favorite, but I like Tekken 4 a lot.

Hmm... I also like Tekken 4, but I like TTT more. I usually play as either, Kuma or Jin. Rarely, Heihachi, Law, Paul and Kazuya. Kuma is one dangerous little sucker... ;)

I liked TTT better than T4, even if the characters new outfits were kind of cool and stuff. But I like being able to switch off characters. I normally play as either a team of Jin and Hworang or Ling and Eddie. (<3 Capoeira dance style) For T4, I play as Christie normally.

Tekken 4 is bleeeehhhhhh. I never really got into the Tekken series, but from what I understand, it's just a Jin-fest and a 1,2-fest.

I saw a video of Tekken 5 at E3. Looked cool enough, but we'll see how it plays.

I like Tekken 4. Tekken series is my favorate fighter ever. My main character is Jun (even though she's not in it anymore). In 4 I use Kazuya, Law, Jin, and a bit of Christie (no I don't mash).
Thats where I get the Kazama in my s/n.

tekken 4 is good and all but recently i've been noticing that people who use king do the side-step grab and just mash all four buttons and still manage to get out all of his string-grabs when it took me a little while to actually find and memorize all the button combos.

The string grabs are easily breakable anyway.

Some aren't as easy as you think... King has about 5 - 6 different string grabs. The hardest one to get out is the one with the Romero Special at the end... and it hurts a hell lot, too... Not as bad as the Rolling Death Cradle finisher... Nina's chains are harder to get out of than King's, but it doesn't quite hurt as much...
