TGA + Anime Boston? VOTE NOW!

TGA being a leader in the Bemani Community, has been approached by Anime Boston to be the official Bemani representatives at the convention. The details are still being worked out, but if an agreement is reached,it will entail the following:

TGA will provide DDR, IIDX and possibly another Bemani Machine to the video game section of Anime Boston. As a result, TGA will be closed from the Wednesday Prior to Anime Boston to the following Wednesday.

Seeing as this is your store, the final vote is up to the membership. Please vote accordingly.

I am STRONGLY in favor of this move as it will provide numerous promotional opportunities and much needed exposure to the rest of New England. You can play a huge role in the promotion of TGA by attening the convetion, and showing your support for TGA by wearing your TGA T-shirt, handing out TGA flyers, or just making friends and inviting them to TGA.

Yes, this will be a GREAT way to promote TGA around NE, considering just how big AB is.

Also, I think it would be a great idea if you could talk with the AB staff and see if there could be a IIDX and DDR tournament on our machines. That would be great.

That would be great.I think if we had a DDR machine there and we didn't have a tournament, we would end up as victims on FOX's new show, "When Fanboys Attack". No thanks. Hell, I think that might happen if we don't have a DDR machine in the first place. So I am personally hoping this happens, or else some crazy fan might try their best Nevada-tan impression on me. :crybaby:

Well, ive been wanting to go. Not having a specific preference in Anime (except for Akira...I LOVE that movie), I was thinking about going as a giant styrofoam cup of Ramen Noodles! If you guys can help out, I'll go as a cup of limited edition TGA Rocket Noodles (oh ya, Cowboy Bebop movie wasnt bad neither) ;-)

Hah! sweet! I'm making a D. Jin costume for AB this year XD I'm scrapping my Asuka costume ( ;_; ) and hoping I have enough time and money to go as the IIDX Red chick.

Yes, because you might get some sponsers for helping out places and other people around the place might be able to go to visit TGA and you will be able to get loads of money because of how many people would go lol

I can't wait for AB 05, its going to be soo much fun. Last Year was my first con and it was loads of fun, I think I spent over 24 hours, playing DDR in the Game Room :P I meet so many people. So who is going to AB this year, Is anyone going up Thursday Night, if so please PM me or EMail me if you wanna hangout since I am going up thursday night. I got my hotel at the Shearton.

Anyways it would be cool if TGA supported AB, it would attract buisness I remember seeing Strawberry Pocky Boxes last year that said like complients of Tokyo Game Action and that is when I frist heard about it.

My thoughts exactly.

I played for maybe.. 5 hours, probably less, and I thought that was too much. It's an Anime Convention... shouldn't you go for the anime? I missed out on watching some good shows to play DDR, and I felt really stupid afterward. This year I'll just go show uff on Pop'n, play some IIDX (if it's there), play one round of DDR, and that'll be that.

I know and I regret it, its just that I am way to addicted to the game, I wasted prob actually over 24 hours playing DDR but meet loads of people that I hang out with sometimes buy doing it. This year though I wont play as much because I going to the Concert Friday night and the dance friday night. Plus I am going to the dance Saturday night and I am in the Masquerade Saturday night and then I might be in Cosplay chess Sunday.

Is anyone going up thrusday night??? If so wanna hangout out? I got a Hotel at the Convention from Thursday Night-Sunday Night

There shouldnt be a fee, and if there is thats going to stink. I went to AB 04 and there wasnt any fee so it will prob be the same.

Game rooms at cons don't have fees to enter. O_o
There's probably some misunderstanding. The game room is a part of the con, therefore is paid for when you purchase a badge. Maybe its for TGA's games or any arcade games there in general. I know at some cons you do have to pay for arcade games. Some cons charge, most have it on free play. Consoles are always free.
