This is the game that most of us folks started on, and even if you hate it now, you have to respect the fact that without DDR, i don't think alot of us would be playing any other bemani. This is a thread to mention accomplishments. Link images please.

The only accomplishment that was recent that i can think of is just barely beating Bag 1x heavy Doubles.

accomplishments huh? well the closest thing to an "accomplishment" for me would be a "B" on "Dead End"... =/

Being one of the top 5 best DDR players in New England and usually come in 3rd or 4th at every tourney.

Being the only New Englander to administrate a forum and not have a taste for babies.

Oh wait, this is about DDR. AA'ing Maxx Unlimited albeit being only a few points over the. It's a scrubby AA, but I did it without even touching the bar.

Hmm... only NEer to admin a forum... right.

PA wise? My greatest accomplishment would be passing Legend of Max once. That's all I wanted to do when I started playing Extreme for the first time. I felt there was no way in hell I could beat PSMO, so LOM was fine for me.

lol damn right it was probably scrubby.

This is considering that that max number of greats for a AA on Maxx is around 100. hmmm

My new accomplishment will be to AA this song starting tomorrow

Yeah, way to remove the context:
... that doesn't have a taste for babies.
Thank you.

Accomplishments...
I think the best I ever managed on the machine was Max 300 with a B, as well as Paranoia Survivor with a B.

However, what was probably even better was they way that Sally and I almost killed both Monty (The Legendary Monty, freestyle master from way back when Tilt was a 3rd Mix) and ourselves. We sighted him one time on the road, leaned out the window and were all like 'MONTY WE LOVE YOU!!!111'
He was pretty suprised, it seems. He got distracted and nearly crashed into us. We've avoided him ever since in fear that if he recognized us, he'd get his personal mafia after us.
...Hm. Anyone see Monty around these days? That whole incident was a good two years ago.

Because obviously any scrub at the arcade can walk up and do that like it was nothing. 101 greats out of 555 steps and 56 freezes. I don't doubt you could do it if you so much as willed yourself, but it's still nothing easy.

Radio, please chill out, Billy is just joshing you i suppose.
I had the goal of beating MU, but after getting past the last slow down, i figured out that it wasn't really worth it. So now i'm working on stealths, just so i have a personal project.
BTW, I heard that Rob Stevens kid got an A on LOM Stealthand i'm not kidding :gator:

Well, just seeing him play with the freaking towel over the screen was proof enough for me.

I can hear the NBA JAM announcers now:
"IS IT IN THE SHOES?"

That's probably not the right line, but still. I could never stealth a song, hell I can't even remember the steps to a doubles song on light when I want to freestyle to it. I give so much respect to those who can do that and not fail.

Being one of the better players around, but not being an elitist dork about it ^_^.

Social skills > Videogame Skills

To all you players out there who are good at a game, but don't get all big headed about it, I got respect for ya. And anyone who supports/tries to help out people not as good at them in any sport/game/thing, doubly so.

That being said, most recent accomplishment? FSing Era on maniac shuffle. Man, was I dizzy after that ^_^.

The first AAA person in New England on Maniac... but, yeah, I don't really play DDR anymore. All I do is play the game for fun, because I don't really fell the need to compete at all. However, I would have to say that my lil sister could possibly have the first AAA on DDR. She was playing Upside Down and Basic. :D

I passed this awesome random nonstop that included (in this order)

1. Max 300
2. Cartoon Heroes
3. Paranoia Survivor Max
4. Cowgirl

Yeah... so I passed this and got a B. And I also AA'd Rythm and Police. BUT NO ONE SAW EITHER OF THESE ACCOMPLISHMENTS! ARG.

My scrollbar screams "HELP ME GOD" whenever it has to scroll so far past blank spaces. The thing gets really moody at times. I guess I haven't been taking care of it much.

Sorry about that Bry. It's all good. I hope your scroll bar doesn't scream for any more air!

I'm thinking about giving up my competative spirit as far as DDR goes, I doubt I can get up to Rob or Billys level in any amount of time, I seem to be stopping progress lately, But maybe Im just not practicing enough, I may just move to IIDX and Pop'n and DMX. But of course I would still play lots of DDR, I prolly just wont train like I used to. Oh and drummania, I will play lots of drummania once they get that there, Sooooooooooooo fun, Plus I have my own drumsticks now ^_^

Play DDR for fun!! Like meeeeeeeEEEeeeeee........ I used to play semi-competitively, but ever since I got really sick, I just quit playing seriously. Infact, I went through a series of 1 game every 2 months... Now, I just play a day, a week. I am getting into IIDX and Pop'n Music, instead, which is many times more fun than DDR.

like i said in my article blaise, just switch to FS, and life gets better.
On the accomplishment side, i passed Futuhara's Theme heavy doubles, and got past the slowdown on LOM heavy doubles.....much further then i can make it on the singles version.

it's not that hard, just get a faux hawk and big holes in your ears. That's all you need, and be able to quote everything....and know as much useless trivia as possible

64 heavy AAA's, AA on every song except for PS, PSM, and PSMO. SDG on every single song except for 5-10 including the tens. That's about it.
