I don't know if anyone knows, but there's this site GDAmania. It has GDA's for drummania simulators (much like sim files for stepmania). They have some songs from DMV up and they're great. I suggest getting DTXMania. It's the best simulator out there. Here's the site for DMV GDA's DMV GDAs (http://www.homei.cc/gdamania/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=45) They also have pretty much every DM song EVER. You can just set it to auto play and play on invisible drums like me. Now only 19.95$ :guin: When is the DMV upgrade kit suppose to arrive to Andy?

Konami gave DMV a loose "mid to late March" release date, as far as Andy told me. So we can expect it to arrive at TGA from late March to early April - the same goes for GFV.

That aside, I think DM sims are ok - well, the sims themselves are good. But the fact that the bulk of the GDAs out there aren't keysounded (as in they're just a song playing in the BG and you don't actually control the drums) really turns me off. Hell, might as well just be playing stepmania. I've also noticed that alot of the sim songs are in really, really crappy quality - audial resolution wise. Most are 64 kbps, 24 kHz. Ouch. There are a few people that actually take the time to make good-quality, keysounded GDAs, though, and to those folks I give a pat on the back :D

But hell, who cares? TGA will soon have all the DM (not to mention GF) one could ever need, and shitty-quality ripped GDAs could never hold a candle to the real thing :P

True 'dat my friend. TGA will pwn all other bemani stores soon. I've seen the sims at a friends house, and the program runs smooth, but I was appalled by the lack of quality, and as you called it, keysounding. Absolutely appalled.

Actually, that's what it's officially called. Bemani games that involve you controlling the music are Keysounded bemani (keysounds being the different sounds each key makes throughout the song), and bemani where you just do movements to a static song playing in the backgrounds (not actually controlling the music) are called Wavsounded bemani.

Oh, and TGA has been owning every other arcade in the USA from the start. That's the most true fact on this entire website.

If there's another arcade where you can just come in, relax, play some non-arcade games, chill with your friends, sit on couches, and enjoy the nice friendly atmosphere you'd find at most non-arcade social hangouts, I'd like to hear about it.

Even the great AI doesnt' have the same feel TGA has. AI is in normal arcade style. Come in, give us your money, play our games, then get out. That's how every other arcade is.

The only other arcade that seems to come close to TGA in atmosphere is Power Up in Maine. While the accomodations weren't as comforting last time me and Freddy went there, it still retains the nice friendly atmosphere found in TGA. And it doesn't get much better than the company of Maine folk.

So this all being said, I will re-state that which Andy has already made blatently clear: TGA owns, has always owned, and will always own you, your mom, AND your cat (unless said cat is cute, fluffy, and cuddly, then it is hereby property of me).

I apologize. You are greater than I am.

Where in the world did that come from? I'm not trying to belittle you. I'm boosting morale for TGA - since when can this be confused with hurting someone's feelings? =/

And if that was about the whole keysounding thing, again I'm not trying to start something. I just like to make sure things are clear, that's all.
