in my honest opinion, Magic: The Gathering would be a fairly good idea to host a tourny of, throw in a few extra kickers like... $5 per entry and winner gets pocky and your all set

i can never figure out how to play these card games! @@; they seem cool, but they're so confusing. i got a deck of cards for a game that's called ani-mayhem...and i tried looking online for how to play...but i never could get it down.

i guess it's also has to do with the fact that i don't have anyone to play with..

i less than three Ani-Mayham... but i, as well, never got the chance to learn how to play.. so i just collected them for a while....


but as for the M:TG teaching.. next time any of you see The Turkey (that guy with the cat ears) at TGA, as him how to play M:TG and if he has decks, he'll teach you how to play

Or you could always ask Phil how to play too (i.e me, the guy with the mario and pacman armbands). I may not be that good but i can teach the basics pretty well :D

I not only play and teach MTG, but I give away (yes you read right) cards and tinker decks. Maybe we could have an unofficial FNM (Friday Night Magic)

i am willing to learn anytime! i like cards, so i always wanted to play...but i understand it involves some math, even though it may be basic...so don't yell at me if it takes me a little bit to get things right...

I used to play and had my own close to 500 card deck a long long time ago. Like when in 1997 when I was still a freshman in high school. I'm sure the game has changed since then, but I'm sure I'll be able to recall some of the rules if I start playing again.

We've some tournies here like weekly at LazerGate, i could scrounge up alot of folks if you wanted to cost a tournement, like the entire anime club at UMASSD. My brother is the treasurer

OK, the Turkey is going to be at TGA .. Friday, June 11th. He will have magic decks, so, if you wish to play some MTG, show up and ask the guy with kitty ears on, he'll be glad to teach/play/talk magic :D

I've played but I learned from someone who only sort of knew the rules. I'm going to be at TGA for the SSBM and, because I'll probably get knocked out quickly, I'd love to chill and play with someone. The lending of a deck would be necessary. :)

*remembers the good ol MTG @ BT days with Yao* though i never played him, i did used to play alot. my mother threw out aboot half my token/phantom deck and all i have left now is a dark steel deck somewhere.
