Since theres a new "child"..quoting Andy.. at TGA..being the new DM Machine...... i believe theres starting to be less and less room at TGA to fit more games... so Andy... or anyone... r u goin to like lease or rent more space for a bigger TGA.?? Because it would be sooooo awsome to have like a "bigger" arcade..^_^...

It's something the "administration" is thinking about at the moment. :]

I think I'd rather see a paint job, a new carpet, maybe some other forms of ventilation (thought the fans and AC beast of a machine is doing pretty well), some fresh shiney bathrooms, new tables for the TV's and console stations, a glass case for merchandise, some better seats for gaming on the console stations, and other things before we expand into another area. Don't take this the wrong way, I love TGA, but I feel that we need to work on those things above before we expand or get another arcade machine. Just my opinion.

hey guys, if we move to a new location we run the risk of losing the staff members as none of them can drive or have cars. also in case you have never seen videos of real bemani arcades in japan all the machines are close together. this ends up not being a problem because konami takes care that the sound on the arcade machines is shapes specifically so this can be done. also i realize how hard it is for some people to come down but the fact of the matter is unless more people start coming to the store we wont be able to buy more machines much less lease a larger area. so before you start making demands, do andy a favor and make your contribution. this does not include all of you, and most of the people this is aimed at are to stupid to understand it anyway. with that being said, i think you are all really rockin except a couple of you. not going to name names. = )

oh yeah and i really agree with garret on this one. we need to make the store a little more presentable. this is being worked on as me andy and jose have been beating the jr. staff members with nailbats to get them back on the ball.

I wholeheartedly agree with just about all of that except one. Better places to sit? Think about it: just about all the games there require you to stand up to play, and any one of them that doesn't either has a nice comfy couch or a big cushy chair (the blue one next to the couch). DM already has its drum stool - you really can't get much better than that without losing the ability to play correctly - and the rest of the games require you to stand up. IIDX CS is arguable about this, but most players stand up, as it's done in the arcade, seeing as the stand we currently have for the ASC is just about exactly the same height and angle as the arcade.

Oh, there's also nothing wrong with the tables as far as I can see. They're all standard LAN tables, perfect for stuff like this.

And I definitely agree with Rob on this one. If we're gonna expand, we definitely need more support. I mean, Andy just purchased not only a IIDX Red upgrade kit, but a DrumMania V upgrade kit, a DrumMania 8 machine, a Percussion Freak 9 repair job, AND a DrumMania 5 upgrade kit. I think it's time to cool off a bit before we start asking him to expand :P

Okay. You're right about the seats, but maybe we could use another couch? Or maybe it'd be too big. I'm not sure.

To me, those plastic tables look a little sketchy with all the speakers and systems sitting on them. Maybe it's just me, but don't they bend in the middle a bit? I dunno. But the paint job and new carpet/rug would sure be nice. And I would DEFINITELY do my best to help with any labor required in stuff like that.

The tables hold stronger than they seem - they're professional LAN tables made to hold 6 computers. Those TVs aren't going anywhere :p

Hey buuddyy, lol wow. I really like how you used the number "8" to replace the "a" in "hatin". and the shortened "bc" for because and omg, the way us "asians" spell out asians, "azn". OH and we can't forget the "u" and "r" to replace "you" and "are" also I see that you've gone and done it with the "over usage" of periods. But I think you forgot one thing, YES everyone, its the "=P" face. *nods head* I can't believe you forgot that, but atleast now you can go ahead and use it when you want to make fun of me. HEY, how bout everyone do what he did, because I really thought that it was soooo hilarious, truly, deep down inside my heart I soo liked it. ^_^ <- Oh, tell me if I"m using that face too much, so that i wont get attack for that also, and heya Stax Kazmathingymajig, if you got any pictures to go with this. PLEASE do post it up. Your last two were sooo cute, a crying baby to resemble my "crying alone" and my favorite one, the picture of a cub eating a dead animal to resemble my quote about the "evil" people as "lions" and me as a "wonderful, elegant Gazelle". YES folks, i do believe that having evil in you can cause "canibilisim". So I recommend everyone to not be "evil". Anyways, I'm out but I'll be back on to see what wonderful things that "Stax" "Atumn Ghost" "Garrett" "Bryan" and anyone else that likes to join them, please do. Cause I would sooo love to write back to you guys, but if you dont want to answer back for the reason that "Stax" told me that I'm "soooooo childish" then don't. PEACE OUT ^_^

Blue: Learn to take some criticism, but I am proud of your new grammatical usage; complete sentences, no overdone elipses, and lack of obnoxious smiley faces, congrats! I'd like to know what the hell it was that I said that was racist. But please, send me a PM.

World: If we were to do this, we'd to plan the date way ahead of time, and make it pretty "official". I mean, we'd be deciding upon colors, styles, dates, and if Andy includes us, a budget. I would love to be there. After all that brainstorming, we would have to schedule a very rigid work plan, so that the projects are done in a timely manner. I know Andy wouldn't have to give me incentive to help paint, recarpet, redecorate, or clean the store, but if necessary maybe that would be arranged. Of course, the jobs wouldnt be done in a day, but if done correctly, with some team effort, we could definitely make TGA 10x mroe rockin'. I propose that we hold our "brainstorming" meeting on January 15th, a Saturday. Any seconds?

Wow, guys, this stupid is spilling over into this thread as well.

Now, this thread here, has useful topics of convorsation. So I'm not going to close it, but I'm very tempted. Take it to PM's, IMs, or what have you, Or I'll close this thread as well, and start another one with the same topic.

This is really getting on my nerves folks.

TGA ALWAYS has room for improvement. The most immediate plans are to get a new couch for the back room, and a desk for the staff table. Per my lease, only the landlord can install new carpet, but the good news?? The landlord gave me the ok to paint a huge mural on the back wall in the back room. If somebody wants to paint a cool Bemani mural in the back get back to me and we will make it happen.

More improvements to come.

Andy

i would also like to put a nicer visual for people that are new...we all love tga, but people that don't know how great tga is on the inside (inside meaning people, atmosphere, energy, etc) won't get the chance to if they don't even want to step in. so that way you rail in more people, make more money, and THEN there's room for expansion.

so i do agree that the people really wanting to take action should meet at tga and brainstorm and such, but how about also draw out some blueprints? not only for layout, but for design and color. maybe tga can save up some money to invest in this (and by save up i don't mean automatically spend it and then hope to make the money up later).
