SunaBouzu: Screw Gaara, this guy's a more badass "sand demon". Its one of those series that's "immature" for the sake of it. Explosions, big breasted women (hell, the main character dubs her "Boob-chan") twisted humor. It's definetly worth a watch, generated quite a bit of laughter from me.

Viewtiful Joe: brilliant. While the op/ed aren't the greatest (although the songs are awesome), it's fairly accurate to the games as far as i can tell. The powers obviously transfer well, and all the characters are loveable, for the most part, especially the villians. Joe's such a loser, it's funny. I really hope it continues with the story into the second game, and even beyond the second game. Limiting it to the first game and "omg save sylvia" would suck.

Gankutsuo (something like that anyway)- Count of monte cristo. REALLY trippy kind of art style- Haven't watched a lot of this, but it really looks good.

If you're a naruto fan, then i suggest Bleach. Stolen from The Anime Network page:

"Plot Summary:
Ichigo Kurosaki has always been able to see ghosts, but this ability doesn't change his life nearly as much as his close encounter with Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper and member of the mysterious Soul Society. While fighting a Hollow, an evil spirit that preys on humans who display psychic energy, Rukia attempts to lend Ichigo some of her powers so that he can save his family; but much to her surprise, Ichigo absorbs every last drop of her energy. Now a full-fledged Soul Reaper himself, Ichigo quickly learns that the world he inhabits is one full of dangerous spirits and, along with Rukia--who is slowly regaining her powers--it's Ichigo's job to protect the innocent from Hollows and help the spirits themselves find peace.
Kurosaki Ichigo is not a regular 15 year old, because he has always had the ability to see spirits and ghosts. One day, a female Shinigami (God of Death) named Kuchiki Rukia appears before him, hunting for an evil spirit. But during the confrontation, the Shinigami's powers are transfered to Ichigo. Thus begins the adventures of Ichigo and Rukia and their mission to herd Hollows (fallen spirits)."

Another one i highly reccomend.

Genshiken.

Especially if you've been in any anime/gaming/geek club of any kind.
