You are correct on all but one. 4 Yoohoos go to Adam.

As for the third one, it's pronounced Taku, it's some weird german thing.

I'll have more questions later.

Craz

What song, if not on battle, will not auto fail if you get all poors?

Outphase is made up of who?

I feel like posting some random questions:

What song on IIDX uses only the white keys, no blue ones?
What song allows for great fun, due to the ability to spam the keysound "BEATMANIA!!!"?
What song is missing a keysound at the end on 7K/A7 that is there on L7?

1. I have no fucking clue whatsoever. Unless you're talking substream, where there was a 4 key mode.
2. Second Style... FUJIYAMA!!!!!!
3. Indigo Vision. Also, it isnt missing the keysound, it's still there, however the note does not drop.

Devil Warrior
May 11th, 2004, 15:26
Juggatard wins second 2.

Ok, more questions, sorry if they include just Beatmania stuffz:

Again, what song on IIDX uses ONLY the front white keys, no black/blue keys?
Whats the hardest song on 10k on Beatmania?
And, what is the coolest song on Beatmania The Final? This isn't opinion, its fact. Its also by D-Crew if that helps.

Ok, more trivia since I'm bored right now:

Again!!! what song on IIDX uses ONLY the front white keys, no black/blue keys?
Slightly revised... whats the hardest song on 10k on Beatmania III?
NEW! Name the COOL song with 573 notes on IIDX.
Also NEW! If I were to mistype a web address, what song would I be?

What song allows for great fun, due to the ability to spam the keysound "BEATMANIA!!!"?

this reminds me...there's a song in club mix (yes, it's back when beatmania was 5 KEYS!!OMG) that i used to love playing...i can't remember which one it is. maybe someone else that plays/played it can remember. but there was a part of the song where every time you hit a key (at least on normal, i don't know how they did this part on expert), a synthesized-sounding voice would say a letter...and it went like this:

"B...E...A...T...M...A...N-I-A"

the first time i figured out what it spelled i was so happy XD

Devil Warrior
May 12th, 2004, 13:22
I know what you're talking about, don't know the song. I'll find out ASAP though.

Found it: Tokyo European Espresso

I like that song.

1) Why am I compelled to say Atomic Age [14A]? I think this question has two answers, one pre-9th and one from 9th style.
2) Is there even an answer to this? BM/III has more utter bullshit on doubles than IIDX. That is saying a lot.
3) Deadline.
(I am not even bothering with the last question... yikes)

Oh, and an alternate answer to the question about missing keysounds is Still My Words.

So I guess I got no answers. :\

Devil Warrior

-Dippy

Devil Warrior
May 12th, 2004, 16:16
Nope, over the clouds isn't cool enough, but I know you like it. So I guess that answer works.

Song I was thinking of was Digital MinD (A/T Libra Mix) One more left peoples, then I'll make more new ones.

Catastrophe
May 14th, 2004, 16:55
I knew it was Kamikaze 14[A]! I just stopped reading this thread! Now I wish I hadn't. But I can't believe nobody else got that!
M-02STP.Ver.101 also has 573 notes on 7K AND its by Sho-T. So it must win!

Beatmania's bringing it back like old-school? This sounds engrishy.

Which 7 star song has only 5 more notes in its 7K another than compared to its 7K version?

Got Turkey?

Those Q's had already been answered, sorry Turkey =P

EDIT: Why shouldn't I contribute? Yay!

1) What is the minimum EX score needed for a AAA on G2 L7?

2) What is the longest two-note roll in IIDX CS? How many notes is it?

3) Why does 革命 [14] have its bullshit rolls only on the 1P side?

4) What was TaQ and TAKA's first band named? (Yes, they worked together before OutPhase)

5) What was TAKA's first Beatmania song?

To mimic the way Chopin's Revolutionary Etude would be played on the piano.

Logical Dash or whatever.

3 questions to go!

the other half of 2) The roll has 142 notes.

4) Indigo.

Excellent. Only one question left then!

Catastrophe
June 9th, 2004, 23:54
I think Taka's first song was Gradiusic Cyber. It was in IIDX 'first style', right?

(TaQ's first song was Digital MinD (A/T Libra Mix). All their 5 key stuff actually came AFTER their start in IIDX.)

Devil Warrior
June 10th, 2004, 00:19
I think I'm going to have to go with Gradiusic Cyber as well, as I believe IIDX 1st Style came out before Beatmania 4th Mix, which is where Logical Dash is from, unless he released songs under some other alias.

shinigami_2057
June 10th, 2004, 00:44
Indeed it was Gradiusic Cyber. Congrats, I think my questions were a bit too easy =/

Catastrophe
June 10th, 2004, 00:54

Way to completely miss my post, fats. :bear:

I have a couple of questions myself:

1) Name RAM's first track in a Beatmania (IIDX/III) game.
2) Why in the high holy hell is Gobble 14key only five stars? (There is an explanation for this... and it is not because some staffer at Konami was high on crack.)

-Dippy

Devil Warrior
June 10th, 2004, 13:14
For #1, I'll go with Chain, was on Beatmania 4th Mix.

For #2, thats easy, Doubleplay difficulty matched singleplay difficulty settings up until 6th style I believe, then they gave them their own difficulty. Unfortunately, Gobble never made it that far, and is stuck with its 5 star 14k difficulty unless it ever returns to IIDX. I know where you got this from. :P

Ok new Trivia Questions!

#1: What was the name of TaQ's first musical group?

#5: Not Tom Cruise.

how can i 100% 19, november on HS3 but i cant pass it on HS2

Because you suck on that song on HS2? Same as how I used to be able to pass Spin the Disc [A] on HS1 Sudden, but couldn't pass Spin The Disc 7K on HS3.

kamilumin

SubSimon or something like that.
good-cool

Well, good-cool is correct, SubSimon isn't.

shinigami_2057
June 17th, 2004, 14:20
1) Is it DMD? Sub Simon was one of TaQ's friends, and it was his DJ name; his band was Electro Tunes.

Here's a quick question... who plays the piano in still my words? ^_^ (And for something weird... on 5th, play still my words 7k and right after you hit the last now, hit the middle black key. You'll get a surprise =P)

Devil Warrior
June 17th, 2004, 15:33
As far as I know shinigami is right on #1... re-organize questions now:

#1: Which Another makes my 3rd Style backup crash?
#2: Who be teaching your neighbors?
#3: Not Tom Cruise.
#4: Where was TaQ born?
#5: Easy one, who's alias is Tiger YAMATO?

-Freakin up my ass beat! Smashin the backyard. Oh my gosh! Get loud as a bitch!
-Japan? He's Japanese. (Prononciation of his name BTW, would be たく (say "tahh-koo") if you say it very slowly, but quickly in normal conversation the "oo" would be much less pronounced. I just say "tah-ck.")
-南雲玲生 (Nagumo Reo)

Now I'll make questions...

1) How many versions of 20 November?
2) Why is .59 called .59?
3) (Opinion) What would you say is the funniest wrong video for a 2DX song? I liked seeing the Schlagwerk video on More Deep, personally :mouse:

Devil Warrior
July 7th, 2004, 15:20

TaQ being born in Japan would be too easy.. and is also wrong. He was born in Grosse Point, MI, USA (or somewhere in Michigan, anyway). Born in the US, raised in Germany, currently lives in Japan. That is why he can speak fluent and clear English.

There are a foolish number of remixes of 20, november. The original Beatmania game had two (one normally and one for doubles/2P). There is the remix/edit for DDR, and the remix on IIDX 6th style. There are also several more versions on the older BM games.

.59 -> ten go ku -> tengoku, which is Japanese for "heaven." Or something like that.

-Dippy

Devil Warrior
July 8th, 2004, 10:40
Close, Dipstick, but not quite on where TaQ was born. He WAS born in the US though, and raised in Germany. TaQ is something that he has had longer than he has been in Japan, so it doesn't really make sense for it to be pronounced "Tah-Koo", afterall, look at all those german things, like Schlagwerk and stuff.

Oh, and Lisa got all my other questions, kind of, she didn't SAY Asletics, but did display more lyrics, so I guess that can count. Guess I have to think of more now.

shinigami_2057
July 8th, 2004, 13:23
TaQ would be pronounced Taku in German :D
