Move over contra.
Not only does this game give you HP instead of lives
You also can combine 2 weapons for a new (but not always more powerful) effect.
I say this because the strongest weapon in the game, the chaser, becomes weaker if you upgrade it.
And yes, it's 2 player. You can steal hps if you die too.
Yes, it's a sega game, so the graphics arent great, but i think they do a lot with the primitive sound capability... SNES always had sega agasint the ropes with audio.
