Do you play fighting games? Come to TGA and experience fighting games on a whole new level. Play fighting games the way they were meant and designed to be played by the Japanese software creators. The fighting games at Tokyo Game Action are the exact same versions that you will find in Japanese game centers. TGA uses only Japanese software, in Japanese versus cabinets, supported by official Sanwa sticks and buttons supported by Omron micro switches.
Due to our commitment to the American and Japanese Fighting game communities, Tokyo Game Action has been officially recognized by the Japanese fighting game community as an authentic Japanese fighting game center. In 2005, Tokyo Game Action was granted an official partnership with Tougeki Super Battle opera, the annual international fighting game tournament held in Tokyo Japan. Tokyo Game Action is the official American East Coast qualification location. Along with Family Fun Arcade in California and just as we did in 2006, TGA and FFA will team up and will be sending teams to Japan to represent the East and West Coasts of the United States in 2007 TGA staff member Chie Yamanoi, is the official licensed and authorized Japanese and American Tougeki Super Battle Opera coordinator and is responsible for all American coordination.
TGA is also partners with Japanese game centers Game Newton and Beat Tribe and will be hosting tournaments featuring Japanese guests in 2006 and 2007.
Stateside, TGA hosts periodic ranking battles where players can be compete to be officially ranked and recognized by the international fighting game community.
