Grand Tournament - Saturday June 30th 2007
The Grand Tournament will be a 16 Person Tournament. It will consist of the 3 TGA member with the Highest Ranking in the DDR SuperNOVA Ranking battles held from January - June of 2007, The 6 Qualifiers from the Last Chance Qualifer, and the 1st Place winners from the 7 tournaments held nation wide.†‡

Seeding will be based on one pre-chosen qualifying song. This will be a single elimination tournament.

Any heavy songs up to 9s will be allowed from the beginning until the third round, at which point any heavy song may be chosen. 10 and 10+ may be played in earlier rounds based on mutual agreement of the players.

Round structure: Top seeder chooses first song, and the side they wish to play on, Low seeder chooses second song. In the case of a tie, a third song will be chosen by roulette.¹

No modifiers that change notecount will be allowed. Anything else is fine.

A song that a player has chosen in a previous round may not be chosen again by that player for the duration of the tournament.

Failure of your song choice will result in a match loss, failure of any other song is a song loss.

Winners will be based on numerical score.
If scores tie, Winner will be based on number of perfects.
If both tie, Winner will be based on a roulette song.¹

Top 3 will be chosen as follows:

1st Place will be chosen by the finals
2nd Place will be chosen by the finals
3rd Place will be chosen by a match between the semi-final losers

1st Place winner will recive a check from Tokyo game Action for the Amount of $1000.00USD and if resources permit, a cookie.²

Last Chance Qualifier - Friday June 29th 2007
Seeding will be based on one pre-chosen qualifying song. This will be a single elimination tournament.

Top 6 will continue on to the Grand Tournament

1st Place will be chosen by the finals
2nd Place will be chosen by the finals
3rd Place will be chosen by a match between the semi-final losers
4rd Place will be chosen by a match between the semi-final losers

A single elimination match between the 4 losers of the pre-semi finals match will be held.

5th Place will be the first place winner of this match
6th Place will be the second place winner of this match

If more spots are open in this qualifier due to absence of winners the bracket will continue to fill in the same patern.

National Qualifier Tournaments

Any heavy songs up to 9s will be allowed from the beginning until semi finals, at which point any heavy song may be chosen. 10 and 10+ may be played in earlier rounds based on mutual agreement of the players.

Round structure: Top seeder chooses first song, and the side they wish to play on, Low seeder chooses second song. In the case of a tie, a third song will be chosen by roulette.¹

No modifiers that change notecount will be allowed. Anything else is fine.

A song that a player has chosen in a previous round may not be chosen again by that player for the duration of the tournament.

1st Place winner will be awarded a free 4 day pas to Bowlmani Festival 2007 and a quarenteed spot in the Grand Tournament.³








†Official TGA National Tournament Locations will be posted on the main Bowlmani Festival 2007 DDR SuperNOVA Tournement page.

‡In the case of absence of any of the TGA Ranking Battle or TGA National Qalifiers the amount of people who can proceed from the Last Chance Qualifier will be increased. In the chance of absence of people durring the Grand Tournament, a 'Bye' will be used in their place.

¹If the song does not fall within the level limit set by the round, then the song will be failed out and a new song will be chosen until it does.

²If cookie is available the winner may or may not be granted the right to chose flavour.

³Winner will recieve admision for Bowlmani Festival 2007 via USPS after submission of paperwork from tournament arcade. Paperwork will be the responsability of the inividual arcade.
